Nancy Rondeau of Sotheby's International Realty Canada chosen for advisory board for prestigious meeting in Seattle.

Top realty professionals to gather at Leaders in Luxury event

Dallas (TX) 2013 — Local luxury real estate professional, Nancy Rondeau of Sotheby’s International Realty Canada has been selected as one of seven Realtors to serve on the Advisory Board of Leaders in Luxury (LIL), an invitation-only educational and networking event for real estate agents who work in the million and multi-million dollar home and estate market in the U.S. and Canada.

Hosted by the Dallas-based Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, the event is scheduled for October 28 – 30 at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Seattle (WA).

“We are so pleased to have Nancy Rondeau on our board for 2013,” said Institute President Waco Moore. This year’s meeting is our ninth annual luxury event and we are pulling out all the stops to make it our best. “We are starting with a luxury property tour, a networking cocktail party and gala marketing awards dinner on the first day, and then adding a special event at Nordstrom, along with two days packed with informative presentations and panels. Our goal is for this event to set the benchmark for luxury retreats.”

“This special event draws North American real estate professionals who are true experts in the luxury residential market. It is an honour to be asked to serve on the Advisory Board,” Nancy Rondeau said.

Upon earning professional acknowledgments including the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation with further achievement of the Million Dollar Guild, Nancy Rondeau steadfastly became a sought-after authority in the luxury home market. “I consider it both my pleasure and my privilege to provide exceptional service and astute valuation of the finest, most beautiful, most unique properties in the Greater Vancouver area.”

The complete 2013 Leaders in Luxury Advisory Board includes: Dawna Borg, REMAX Premier, Vaughan/Toronto (ON); Debbie Murray, Allie Beth Allman& Associates, Dallas (TX); Keiko Okubo, REMAX Accord, San Francisco (CA); Roman Pavlik, Keller Williams Eagle Realty, Miami (FL); Nancy Rondeau, Sotheby’s International Realty Canada, Vancouver (BC); Friley Saucier, Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, Naples (FL); Joyce Tawes, Realty One Group, Scottsdale (AZ).

According to Laurie Moore-Moore, Founder of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, “Our LIL Advisory Board is made up of a diverse group of professionals who are leaders in their residential markets. What they have in common is strong expertise in the luxury home niche and a commitment to providing outstanding service to affluent buyers and sellers.”

DALLAS, Texas – November 07, 2013 – Nancy Rondeau of Sotheby’s International Realty Canada joined over 100 top real estate professionals, serving the upscale residential market, who converged the last week of October at The Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle (WA) for The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing’s annual Leaders in Luxury (LIL) conference.

According to Rondeau, the exclusive event was an invitation-only educational and networking opportunity for real estate professionals who handle million and multi-million dollar homes and estates. “This prestigious conference helps me deliver better service by providing cutting-edge information on what’s happening in the luxury market segment, offering insights on best practices in the business, and creating valuable networking opportunities,” said Rondeau.

“Leaders in Luxury attendance is limited to proven professionals in the luxury home niche,” said Laurie Moore-Moore, Founder of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, the host company. “This gives LIL attendees the opportunity to build an exclusive network of contacts focused on the upscale residential industry, while sharing with the best in the business. Since competency is the key to working successfully with the luxury buyer and seller,” added Moore-Moore, “LIL is designed to provide attendees with important knowledge and insights, giving them a competitive edge in meeting the needs of the affluent.”

“Attending the Leaders in Luxury event is an investment for my clients,” said Rondeau. “By networking with the best in the business, sharing ideas, and discovering the latest trends, I can help my affluent clients find success where others are finding challenges.”

Leaders in Luxury’s keynote speakers included Ken DeLeon of DeLeon Realty, who represented the Russian billionaire buyer in the record-setting $100 million residential sale in California’s Silicon Valley in 2011, as well as New York City top producer Patrick Lilly from the Manhattan boutique brokerage CORE. Also keynoting at the event was Brian Dennehy, Chief Marketing Officer for luxury retailer Nordstrom, Inc. Numerous top luxury agents from the U.S. and Canada participated in presentations and panel discussions.

Nancy Rondeau serves buyers and sellers of upper-tier real estate in the Greater Vancouver area. “The forecast for Vancouver’s high-end real estate market is positive this fall 2013″, said Rondeau. “The precautionary mortgage lending restrictions introduced by the Bank of Canada 2012 will no longer impact Vancouver’s upper end real estate market”, added Rondeau, “Vancouver will continue to be supported by the influence of international buyers. As in previous years, China will remain the top market influencer, along with Iran and the United States.”
